Project Overview
Corporate Stays offers luxury rental housing for business and leisure travelers across Canada and the globe.
Starting in 2008, the company has a portfolio of over 4500 serviced apartments, condos, and townhouses available across major Canadian cities for 30 nights or longer stays. Users simply have to search listings on the website, select an apartment, submit an application, pay a deposit, confirm booking, and enjoy their stay.
Goals
Corporate Stays' goal was to increase user acquisition and strengthen its position as a trusted authority in the hospitality and housing industry.
We came on board to implement strategies that would increase the site’s domain rating, monthly organic traffic, and conversion rate. The end goal was to grow online bookings and revenue for the business.
What We Did

Laser-focused Programmatic SEO
Our approach to significantly increasing user acquisition started with programmatic SEO. We used semi-automated methods to create a large number of web pages, each optimized for specific long-tail keywords.
This strategy allowed us to leverage structured data and templates to target various search terms related to locations, property types, amenities, and other user queries. It also enabled the site to attract organic traffic on a large scale.
- First, we identified the various user intents for Corporate Stays services, such as business travelers looking for short-term luxury rentals, remote workers seeking long-term, fully furnished accommodations, and even tourists looking for upscale and conveniently located stays.
- Our team then performed in-depth keyword research on Location-specific and feature-specific queries. These queries were grouped into clusters based on factors like location, duration of stay, amenities, and so on.
- We implemented dynamic page creation and created a structured database that stores information like location data (cities, neighborhoods, proximity to business hubs leveraging embedded maps), property details (amenities, size, features, pricing), nearby landmarks (restaurants, conference centers, airports), testimonials, and reviews.
On-Page Optimization for Destination Pages
Already, there’s a solid FAQ page, and each housing option in various destinations includes specifics about the property, including images and videos, amenities, booking privacy, and unique features.
- We researched high-volume, location-specific keywords and naturally included them in title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and URL structures.
- So, we implemented compelling meta descriptions to improve click-through rates (CTR) and used descriptive alt text for all images, incorporating keywords where appropriate to enhance accessibility and image search visibility.
- We checked to ensure the page is fully optimized for mobile devices, as many users browse and book on the go. We also checked for clear CTAs, which are “Ask for quotation.”
Routine Technical SEO Audit and Fixes
For this project, our technical SEO audit focused on site speed to ensure pages load quickly, even with dynamically generated content. We also maintained clean and descriptive URLs for destination pages and sub-pages.
Our assessment was also designed to uncover and resolve obstacles hindering Google bots from properly crawling and indexing key pages. This essential step sets the stage for the site's organic growth. We also looked out for minor issues, such as crawl errors.
Link Building
We also explored link-building opportunities to increase the site’s visibility, which will attract potential users actively searching for vacation rentals in Canada.
Since increased organic traffic reduces reliance on paid ads for customer acquisition, we implemented a strategic link-building campaign to secure premium backlinks from reputable websites and blogs within the housing niche.
Our team acquired 149 high-quality backlinks from authoritative platforms with strong Domain Ratings (DR).
By prioritizing quality over quantity, we boosted the website's domain authority and improved keyword rankings.
Results

Through a focused link-building strategy, the DR grew to 40. We had a 29% increase, which improved the website's credibility and strengthened its ability to rank higher in search engine results.
