Project Overview
Canada Grow Supplies is a leading provider of growing equipment and supplies for indoor, hydroponic, and soil growing. The company inventory also includes plant nutrients, tents, kits, lights, and fans, all available in the physical store in Canada and their e-commerce store for online orders.
Goals
We were brought on board to boost revenue for Canada Grow Supplies on its e-commerce store. With our full-service SEO, technical audits, and link-building service, the focus was to improve the monthly organic traffic significantly. The brand also aimed to leverage Google Ads to increase return on investment.
What We Did

Optimization of Exisiting Collection pages
A seamless experience on the site increases engagement and reduces bounce rates, directly impacting conversions. One important thing we did for this project was optimize the existing collection and product pages.

We also created targeted ad campaigns to attract customers searching for products related to growing supplies. Over $100K has been spent to generate more than $2M within two years of managing the client's Google Ad.
The primary purpose of the campaign was to increase website traffic and boost sales of specific products, including hydroponic systems, grow lights, and nutrients.
- We conducted keyword research to discover queries potential customers use to search for grow supplies in Canada, focusing on product-specific keywords (e.g., "best grow lights in Canada"), geographic keywords (e.g., "Canada grow store"), and even long-tail keywords with buying intent.

For example, when we reviewed the ad campaign performance between Q2 2021 and Q4 2024, we generated $2.23 million in revenue from purchases on the site.

The website has experienced remarkable growth in its keyword rankings. Initially, Canada Grow Supplies ranked for 148 keywords, but we're glad to report a significant rise to 634 keywords in the top 10 positions — an impressive 328% increase.

Even more rewarding, high-priority keywords such as “4x4 grow tent Canada” and “full spectrum LED grow lights Canada” now occupy the number one spot on Google’s result pages.
We started this project with a Domain Rating (DR) of 23. After securing 230 high-quality backlinks from relevant gardening sites, we increased the site’s DR to 40, showing a 73% increase.
